A SMALL ARCHAISTIC FIRE-GILT COPPER REPOUSSÉ TRIPOD WINE VESSEL, JUEChina, style of the Tang dynasty - dating to the late Qing dynasty (1644-1912) or slightly later. The tripod wine vessel with a deep body raised on three beast-form feet, flanked by a dragon handle, and decorated with archaistic patterns and stylized chilong dragons.Condition: Good condition with minor surface wear, rubbing to the gilt, and areas of malachite, azurite, and cuprite encrustations. Provenance: Estate of Wolfgang Zacke (1942-2022), co-founder of Galerie Zacke, thence by descent.
