A JAPANESE BRONZE VASE MEIJI ERA, 19TH/20TH CENTURY The bulbous body raised on a spreading foot and with a tall flared neck, both sides decorated with a shishi prancing by a flowering tree, on a ground of rhomboid patterns; the neck with two panels enclosing Jurojin and his pet deer to one side, and Kintaro wrestling with a giant carp to the reverse, 15.5cm.
