Shizhao is the Shizhao Ting (Shiny Rock Pavilion) nearby to the Huanghe Lou in Wu Chang, Hubei province; it acquired its name because of a large rock the surface of which shone like a mirror, which glowed when the sun shone upon it at sunset.
