Age: Mid-Qing dynasty

Description: An attractive Chinese greyish white nephrite jade snuff bottle of rounded rectangular form with a flattened side of russet skin. Skillfully carved and very well hollowed. Raised flat foot rim with recessed base.

Size: 2 1/2", 6.4 cm.

Provenance: From a Montreal collector

Condition Report: Snuff bottle appear to be in very good condition. There is residue of snuff / dirt on the inside of the bottle. The stone is of an even greyish white color. On the reverse, a nice orange color but less intense than the studio photos seen online. The foot rim appears to be in perfect original condition with strong and sharp edges on the interior and exterior. The neck appears to be undamaged. The mouth also appears to have no damage.
