谢之光（1900—1976），初名廷川，署东山后裔，后易名之光，室名栩栩，1899年2月25日出生于浙江余姚。中国美术家协会会员和上海分会理事、上海画院画师、上海市文联（二届）委员会委员、民主同盟盟员。早年擅月份牌年画。作品有《铁水奔流》、《洛神》等。谢之光的后半生全身心创作国画，成为上海著名国画家之一。他青年时代在月份牌广告上的成就是上海广告美术史上相当精彩的一页。
