Named after the two demons she defeated, Chanda and Munda, the latter's head held in her hand is regarded as her most powerful weapon. Her angular features reveal a grimacing face and menacing smile. She squats victorious over the partially prone demon (pretasana). A closely related example is held in the collection of Bharat Kala Bhawan, Varanasi, (15009).
