题识:盖款：永福 拍品描述:来源：台湾重要老藏家旧藏。 壶作莲子式，一弯流饱满，执把圆弧有力，气度充沛，壶身圆实而不失闲雅。栗褐色胎满含细黄砂，金光内敛，永福所制之器，胎质、火候俱佳，形制规整。 周永福，清道光至同治年间，宜兴紫砂艺人、制壶名手，据说其主要习邵大亨的技法，善制鹅蛋壶，佳者可以夺真。他的作品和事迹史记甚少，故后人所知已无几。
