铜 炉铜质，外壁光素，皮色金黄，厚润雅泽，予人内敛沈静之感。口微侈，颈微束，双耳，垂鼓腹，圈足微外撇，造型典雅古朴。蚰耳清秀，上耳根平润，下部柔曲，渐渐变垂龙尾。炉底中间起框，内镌刻「大清乾隆年制」六字楷书款，字体隽秀端正。整器深沈肃穆，沈稳端庄，蚰耳转折自然流畅，炉身线条简素利落，铜质厚实，叩之金声玉振，气韵清逸。《宣德彝器图谱》卷五谱中，称此形制为「诸炉之冠」蚰耳炉之双耳，为龙之形简也，因而得名。其光素清雅之风范，历来为皇室贵冑、文人雅士等所好。
