竹 用一截精巧的竹根圆雕而成。文房为清雅之场所，文房用具亦多具文人气息，多以梅兰竹菊为题材创作。这件笔洗体量不大，入手轻盈，而雕琢极其工细。内挖形成一枚敛口，外壁则为老梅虬枝，上著灼灼梅花，予人以古树新枝，老而弥坚之感。以竹为材，以梅为饰，岂非“文房双清”、才子雅事耶。
