提要：是书札为四川总督赵尔丰就其平定巴塘兵变诸事、战役情况及解决情况致舒清阿书札。可与史料相佐证。
赵尔丰（1845－1911），字季和，人称季帅，盛京将军赵尔巽之三弟。辽宁辽阳市人。历任任四川总督等职。1905年，平定西藏巴塘叛乱。由于其为清朝经营川边藏有功，“所收边地，东西三千余里，南北四千余里，设治者三十余区”，为西康建省打下基础。《清诗稿》为其列传。舒清阿（1877-？）字质甫，湖北荆州驻防旗人，汉军正白旗，陆军中将。1907年成立江南陆军讲武堂，任总办。
