提要：是为晚清著名笔杆子于式端至状元张建勋书札。
于式枚（1853-1916），字晦若，广西贺县人。光绪六年进士，以庶吉士人庶常馆，三年期满，御试，用为兵部主事。北洋大臣李鸿章慕于式枚之才，条陈调为北洋差遣。于式枚在北洋任职十余年，有关奉章文牍多出其手。后任清史馆副总裁、清史稿总阅、邮传部侍郎、礼部侍郎、学部侍郎、修订法律大臣、国史馆副总裁等职。郭沫若夫人于立群祖父。张建勋（1848-1913），字季端，号愉谷，一号愉庐，广西临桂（今桂林）人。清光绪十五年（1889）状元，授翰林院修撰。光绪间出任云南乡试主考官，并历任云南学政等职，后兴办学校，为晚清教育做出卓越贡献。着有《愉谷诗稿》等。
