A small famille verte teapotKangxi period, ca. 1700, China, Provenance: Property of a Dutch noble family.- purchased from Aronson Antiquairs, Amsterdam, August 1993, With a faux-wicker handle and the spout as an elephant trunk, the sides and lid with florals and standing on three slightly raised fet. Not marked.14.8 cm (handle to spout) and H 11 cm, Rim fritting (mostly along the base edge) and small manufacturing flaws (see photos). No hairlines and no restoration.
