Opaque ring in light brown amber. The solid ring shank widening upwards to the shoulder. The bezel with a portrait of a recumbent dog, painstakingly drawn and highly detailed, turning his head back to scratch it with his left hind paw. Exceptionally delightful, naturalistic miniature carving by a Roman master craftsman. Very rarely found in this quality. The muzzle of the dog's faceplemented. Height 4.2 cm, inside diameter 1.5 cm.
