A bronze offering vessel with figure of Ganesha, Nepal, 17th-18th century, on a played foot, the globular body ribbed rising to a fluted rim, the curved handle with rope-twist design terminating at the rim with a figure of Vishnu with seven cobra heads, the spout with a figure of Ganesha and figure of Nandi either side on the rim, 18cm high, together with another similar (2)Footnotes: Provenance: Private Collection Oliver Hoare (1945-2018); Nagel Auktionen 13 November 1999Condition Report: The brighter gilded vessel has considerable verdigris to the whole, including the interior, and light general surface marks. The darker vessel is heavily tarnished, and the spout and foot are slightly warped.
