A GUAN-TYPE CRACKLED ‘PEACH’ VASE, HU, c. 1920sChina, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) to Republic period (1912-1949). The globular body rising to a rectangular section with indented corners to the rim and neck, supported by a tall foot, and flanked by a pair of rectangular loop handles. The body molded on the opposing sides with raised, stylized peaches, and applied overall in a thick pale celadon glaze, suffused with a striking network of black and golden-brown crackles. Condition: Very good condition with minimal surface wear, and minor firing irregularities. Provenance: Hungarian private collection.
