A BLACK OVERLAY ‘DEER AND CRANE’ GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE, QINGChina, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). Of flattened globular shape, raised on a black rimmed oval foot, with a cylindrical neck, and flat lip. Carved in relief with a black layer to the milky-white opaque ground, depicting a blossoming tree on one side, and on the other side a scene with a deer and crane underneath a pine tree.Condition: Very good condition with minor surface wear, and some manufacturing irregularities.
