A GROUP OF FOUR INSIDE PAINTED GLASS SNUFF BOTTLESChina, 20th century. The first bottle of a faceted tall cylindrical shape, depicting a continuous scene of children playing in a naturalistic landscape with rocks and trees. The second bottle of hexagonal form, displaying a forest scene with two tigers. The third snuff bottle also of a hexagonal body, showing two cats surrounded by a picturesque flower meadow. The fourth snuff bottle of a compressed rectangular shape, depicting coiled dragons amidst clouds, one breathing fire.Condition: Overall good condition with some surface wear, nibbling to the foots and lips, manufacturing irregularities. The third snuff bottle with a small nick to one of the edges, and a chip to the lip. Provenance: The collection of The Zelnik István Southeast Asian Gold Museum. Institutional art collection in Belgium, acquired from the above.
