A GREEN GLAZED MING DYNASTY POTTERY VASEChina, Ming dynasty (1368-1644). The baluster body with a short cylindrical neck, the shoulders embellished with longevity symbols, key-frets, and floral band, all against a green ground, suffused with a network of fine crackles. The mouth and foot unglazed, revealing the reddish ware. Condition: Fine condition with surface wear, firing flaws, chips to the mouth and foot rim, few nicks, and glaze losses. Provenance: Estate of André Dubreuil (1951-2022). Renowned for his innovative furniture and decorative arts, André Dubreuil was a leading designer, whose background as an antiques dealer and painter informs his artworks. Dubreuil established himself as a designer in 1986, with the production of his ‘Spine Chair’.
