|漳绒在明代已大量生产，是在绒圈锦的基础上发展起来的，因起源于漳州，故名“漳绒”。是以绒为经，以丝为纬，用绒机编织，使织物表面构成绒圈或剪切成绒毛的丝织物。构成织物的纹样有两种形式，一种是绒花缎地，即漳缎；一种是绒地缎花，即漳绒。 此件椅披以暗红色漳绒为地，四周边框饰云龙纹，自上而下装饰正龙两条，缠枝莲纹等。龙形威猛，龙发倒竖，张牙舞爪，双目圆睁，织造精细，质地坚牢，色泽典雅。
