此罐紫泥制成，呈六方型，器形硕大。泥胎泛紫，平肩，平底下承折角犴门，腹面皆开光式，内饰压模回纹底，上饰牡丹缠枝花卉纹。此茶叶罐采用贴花压模工艺，压花图案精致，线条饱满，纵观之觉清雅大方。市场上常见此类茶叶罐因经久岁月，大多已经丢失原盖，此件如此保存完好，更显珍贵。参阅：《明清紫砂珍赏》第284页，图版248，西泠印社出版社，2006年4月。
