珊瑚红地留白技法产生于清代早期，以后各朝均有烧造，以留白竹纹最为常见，早期的珊瑚红色如沙丁级珊瑚色，中期珊瑚红釉中微微闪黄，晚期的粗糙且呈橘红色。本品器型周正，线条优美，胎质细腻，洁白莹润，修足规整，珊瑚红釉色纯正，留白竹纹笔法劲道，红白相映，装饰效果极佳，耐人玩味。
