本品敞口深弧腹高足，器型周正，线条优美，胎质坚白，釉面莹润，通体施祭红釉，釉色深凝，祭红釉创烧于明宣德年间，色如初凝之鸡血，深沉安定，明中晚期一度失传，至清康熙才回复烧造，色泽更加艳丽，本器即为乾隆祭红之精品，釉色均匀稳定，器足内书大清乾隆年制六字一行篆书款。
