本品敞口浅弧腹高足，器型端庄，线条优美，胎质坚白，釉面润泽，内施白釉，外施祭红釉，釉色均匀深凝，发色纯正，温润如玉。祭红釉创烧于明宣德年间，色如初凝之鸡血，深沉安定，明中晚期一度失传，至清康熙才回复烧造，色泽更加艳丽，本品诚为祭红釉之上品，底书大清乾隆年制六字篆书款。
