谢稚柳(1910-1997)原名稚，字稚柳，后以字行，晚号壮暮翁，斋名鱼饮溪堂、杜斋、烟江楼、苦篁斋。江苏常州人。擅长书法及古书画的鉴定。初与张珩(张葱玉)齐名，世有"北张南谢"之说。历任上海市文物保护委员会编纂、副主任、上海市博物馆顾问、中国美协理事、上海分会副主席、中国书法家协会理事、上海分会副主席、国家文物局全国古代书画鉴定小组组长、国家文物鉴定委员会委员等。著有《敦煌石室记》、《敦煌艺术叙录》、《水墨画》等，编有《唐五代宋元名迹》等。
水邨图。此是三十年前旧作，久已失去，顷忽重见及之。题似业煌同志留念。丁巳初夏，稚柳并记。
