石鲁（1919-1982）1934年夏入成都东方美术专科学校国画系。1937年秋任小学教师，组织学生参加抗日救亡宣传活动。翌年初借读于华西协和大学文学院历史社会学系。1939年1月入陕西三原安吴堡青训班，6月到第二战区民族革命大学前锋剧团任戏剧宣传股长。翌年初赴延安入陕北公学，9月调西北文艺工作团，任美术组长。1944年调陕甘宁边区文协美术工作委员会任创作员。1948年延安收复后到群众日报社主编《群众画报》，后调延安大学文艺系美术班任班主任。石鲁在延安时期的创作以版画为主，兼搞年画、连环画、新洋片等。代表作品：《转战陕北》《延河饮马》《东方欲晓》。
