The Wucai jardiniere is of globular form, the body depicts fish swimming amidst algae and plants, between lappet band and scrolling layered rectangular band, complete with en-suite domed lid with finial, bottom bears six character JIAJING reign mark.|Ming Dynasty period.||Height: 15 in (38.1 cm) Width: 13 in (33.0 cm)|明嘉靖 五彩魚藻紋蓋罐 |罐唇口，短頸、豐肩，圓腹，腹下漸收，圈足內凹。通體以青花、紅、黃、綠等色繪傳統魚藻紋。肩飾覆葉紋；近足處青花繪蕉葉紋；腹部以黃彩加礬紅繪八尾鯉魚，輔以各式水草荷花。圈足內青花書「大明嘉靖年製」楷書款。蓋周邊一圈繪魚藻紋，蓋面飾纓絡雜寶紋，上置火焰紋寶珠鈕。
