Yang Wencong (1596-1646) was a painter in the late Ming Dynasty and an anti-Qing official. Named Shanzi, Longyou, nicknamed Chenlong, Hechao, Xueyu, originally from Guiyang, Guizhou, and lived in Jinling (now Nanjing, Jiangsu). In the forty-seventh year of Wanli, he was promoted to be a doctor in the Ministry of War.Qing soldiers entered Fujian and died of being held unyielding. He is erudite, loves ancient times, and is good at painting landscapes. He is one of the "Nine Friends of Painting". 楊文聰（1596—1646）明末畫家、抗清官員。字山子、龍友，號陳龍、鶴巢、雪盦，原籍貴州貴陽，流寓金陵（今江蘇南京）。萬曆四十七年舉人，官至兵部郎中，清兵入閩，被執不屈而死。博學好古，善畫山水，為”畫中九友”之一。
