Fu Shan (1607-1684), a native of Taiyuan, Shanxi. Originally named Dingchen, whose name was Qingzhu, he was renamed Shan, whose name was Qingzhu, and also had other nicknames such as Zhuo Weng, Guanhua, and Zhuyi Taoist. Fu Shan is good at painting landscapes, ink, bamboo, and calligraphy. His calligraphic aesthetics are "rather clumsy than artful, ugly rather than flattering, branching rather than frivolous, and truthful rather than arranged."
