Description

Mr. Daqian started with the freehand brushwork styles of Silla, Bada, Xu Wei, Chen Chun, etc. in painting flowers and birds. In the 1930s, through Chen Hongshou of the Ming Dynasty, he followed the fine brushwork of flowers and birds of the Song Dynasty, such as Teng Changyou, Lin Chun, and Song Huizong. 大千先生畫花鳥，開始時是從新羅、八大、徐渭、陳淳等寫意風格入手，到了1930年代，經由明代的陳洪綬，上追宋人的工筆花鳥，例如滕昌祐、林椿、宋徽宗等。
