A Chinese flambe glazed porcelain vase, heavily built, the surfaces of the tianqiuping-form vase covered entirely to the exterior with glossy reddish glaze suffused with purple patches and streaks, the unglazed footpad enclosing a recessed base covered in a layer of crackled glaze (chips to glaze around footrim caused when lifting the vase from the kiln), 14" high.
