Chinese Qing Dynasty 2 panel Silk Embroidered & Pleated Skirt incorporating satin stitch flower & butterfly borders on black with laid gold wrapped thread double gourds, and white borders with orchids, flowers, butterflies and a laid gold wrapped thread edge of upright buds; all over red damask with butterflies, flowers and roundels, with part of overlap panels pleated; an ecru linen or cotton band at waist with Chinese knot toggle closures.
