A circular fruitwood box and cover with tortoiseshell liner, late 19th century, the cover with painted image of Napoleon on horseback after Jacques-Louis David, the interior cover with an embroidered flower panel, approx. 12cm diameter, together with a hinged black and red lacquer snuff box with painted vignette of three grouse in a landscape and gilt foliate border to the cover, and a shagreen cigarette case inscribed Christmas 1955 to the interior (3)  Condition Report: The fruitwood with general surface scratches and marks especially to the underside, the painted cover with a couple of marks, the tortoiseshell liner with cracked and loose section, the embroidery with wear and cracking. The lacquer box with general light marks but in overall good condition. The shagreen case in good condition with general surface dirt.
