A Chinese Jizhou 'tortoise shell' bowl, Song dynasty, of conical form, covered inside and out with a dark brown glaze splashed with light brown suffusions falling to just about the foot, revealing the buff coloured body, 11cm diameter  宋 吉州窯玳瑁紋盌  Condition Report: 品相報告crazing in the glaze, a section of the bowl was broken off and restored, of approx, 7 x 4cm, two area of chipping to glaze to the mouth rim, loss of glaze to various areas, this bowl may have been re-fired.
