款识：山色依窗见，泉声彻夜开。此幅为史君晴江作也，余戏以干笔点染之。晴兄见之未知以为当否。戊申仲冬十一月十二日。
钤印：平子
平子应为狄楚青（1873-1941），初名葆贤，号平子，别署平等阁主。江苏溧阳人。早年中举人，后留学日本，康有为弟子。1904年在上海创办《时报》，1908年为江苏谘议局议员。后办《民报》和有正书局等。 晚年笃信佛教，皈依常州天宁寺冶开禅师。亦善书法、绘画，家富收藏，精于鉴别。
