作者简介：钟明善（1939年-），男，汉族，1939年9月生于陕西咸阳。幼承家教以书画为日课，后从田登五学习写意花鸟画，青年时代潜心于书史书论研究。书法初宗颜、柳继追“二王”，后博采众长尤喜米芾、文征明诸家，书作以功底深厚、秀雅多姿见长，能多种书体，以行草为擅。篆刻宗秦汉印、古玺融甲骨文、陶文入印，奇崛古朴，别具新意。现为中国书法家协会学术委员会委员、台湾中国标准草书学会名誉理事、陕西省书法空协会副主席、西安书学院院长、陕西省于右任书法学会会长、陕西省诗词学会理事、西安终南印社顾问、西安交通大学人文学院文化艺术系主任、教授。
