作者简介：张之万(1811-1897)，字子青、子清，号銮坡，别署三天侍从，谥号文达。河北南皮人。清宣宗道光二十七年(1847)状元。授编修，任河南学政，累迁内阁学士。同治元年(1862)擢礼部侍郎，以河南巡抚迁河南总督。后任漕运总督、江苏巡抚，刑部尚书。光绪十年(1884)入军机，十五年(1889)升任体仁阁大学士。为四朝元老。善画山水，倾心“四王”，用笔绵邈，骨秀神清。晚年笔简意淡，颇见苍润。与戴熙讨论画学，最为相契，时称“南戴北张”。书精小楷，唐法晋韵，兼擅其胜。
