品相：口沿有一处微磕
此盒木胎，作蟠桃之形，造型圆润饱满，子母口香盒，盒内及底髹润泽的黑漆，余部雕朱漆纹饰。盒壁雕佛手、石榴、寿桃纹样，下衬繁密的花叶，层次分明，繁而有序，有“福寿、多子多福”等吉祥寓意。盒顶部随形开光，内以锦纹为地，雕八仙人物故事图。画面中呈现出一派缥缈仙境，云海山石之间，古桐挺拔，直插云霄，人物周边的山石树木刻画远近相宜，层次丰富，清晰明了，人物神态刻画亦相当细致，其头戴官帽，身着官服，手持阴阳板，为八仙之一的曹国舅。
整盒漆色艳红，纹饰生动，构图饱满，繁而不乱，刀法娴熟。故宫博物院清宫旧藏中一例，“清 剔红八仙图桃式盒”，与本品有诸多相似，可供参考。
