A LEMON YELLOW-GLAZED RETICULATED PORCELAIN ‘FLORETS’ SNUFF BOTTLE, CHINA, 19TH CENTURY
Of flattened ovoid form, supported on an oval foot and rising to a short oval neck with a flat lip, the reticulated body with a design of overlapping flowerheads design between key-fret and geometric bands, covered overall in a greenish lemon-yellow glaze save for the foot rim.


Provenance:
From the collection of Cynthia G. Locke. Cynthia Graser Locke (1923-2019) was an American collector of snuff bottles who lived in Duxbury, Massachusetts. She was an active member of the International Chinese Snuff Bottle Society which allowed her to travel the world, attending many of the Society’s conventions.

Condition
: Very good condition with minor old wear, expected manufacturing irregularities, and minuscule nibbling.

十九世紀檸檬黃色釉鏤空雕花紋鼻煙壺

呈扁平橢圓形，平唇，橢圓形足，壺身鏤空雕刻花紋，肩部回紋，足部芭蕉紋，通體施檸檬黃釉。
