A SMALL BLUE AND WHITE STEM CUP, KANGXI PERIOD
China, 1662-1722. Delicately potted with deep rounded sides supported on a slender stem and flaring gently to an everted rim. Finely painted in soft cobalt-blue tones to the exterior with four lotus roundels between line bands.


Provenance:
Collection of Holger Rosell, and thence by descent in the family. Uppsala Auktionskammare, 5 December 2014, lot 1003. A Finnish private collector, acquired from the above. Holger Rosell (1917-2009) was a Swedish engineer and collector of fine Chinese works of art. A part of his collection can be found today in the National Museum Prins Eugens Waldemarsudde in central Stockholm.

Condition:
Very good condition with minimal wear and expected firing irregularities, such as very minor fritting and glaze flaking.The rim with minuscule frits and associated old fills.

康熙青花團花紋高足杯


中國，1662-1722年。高足杯分為上下兩部分，上部為盃體，口外撇，用來盛酒，下部為高足，具有放置和使用時手執的功用。通體施白釉，圈足露胎。外壁青花描繪四個蓮花團花紋。
