Italo-Corinthian 6th cent. B.C. Clay, cream-coloured slip, dark brown glaze. a) H. 6 57/64 in; 17.5 cm, b) H. 6 29/64 in; 16.4 cm,
a) Two antithetical swans on the shoulder, three panthers populating the freize.
b) Antithetical panther and swan on the shoulder; three panthers within the frieze.
The bodies of both vessels taper towards the conically flared foot. Encircling bands frame the freizes, abundant rosettes in the interstices; a corona of rays above the foot.
