说明：信中螺川即周炼霞(1908-2000)，江西吉安人,生于湖南湘潭。原名紫宜,又名茝,号螺川,室名螺川诗屋。周有画名，与吴湖帆为红颜知己，“周画吴题”为当时艺术圈一时风尚。
作者简介：龙榆生（1902-1966），本名龙沐勋，字榆生，号忍寒。江西万载县人。当代古典文学研究家、词人。曾受教于黄侃、朱祖谋。曾任暨南大学、中山大学、中央大学、上海音乐学院教授。
