钟道泉（1902-1969）字本立，汉族，四川达县人。以其功底深厚，深得自然之道的中国写意花鸟画著称于世。20世纪20年代考入武昌美专，毕业后入刘海粟创办的上海美专学艺，1926年又随潘天寿、张聿光转入上海新华艺大，其突出的才华深受潘、张二人器重，举荐至吴昌硕门下。其早期作品已深谙昌硕笔意之精髓。疎影碎夜月寒声搅秋风。绥定钟道泉。道泉
