此批銅鏡為十二世紀（中國宋代中晚期）印尼產素面鏡，手柄有精美祥枝瑞圖紋飾，素鏡往往被識為製作簡單之銅鏡，實非如此。其由在制模時無法掩飾鏡背的裂痕和缺憾，才用各種紋飾覆蓋其上，掩飾裂痕，增加美感。從現有實物來看，素鏡的製作難度決不比有紋飾的銅鏡差。此批素面柄鏡實乃做工精湛，包漿渾整，顯現樸厚無藻之風。實乃把玩上乘佳品。
