汉斯·迈尔·卡塞尔（1872-1952）德国后印象派画家，美国尊称其为“内华达之子”。美国内华达美术馆介绍如下：1895年开始参加慕尼黑大展，一战时被德意志帝国选为“war painter"战争艺术家，闻名于欧洲。1922年移民美国，定居内华达，现在我们仍在白宫和国会，学校和美术馆等欣赏到他的作品。卡塞尔有个绘画习惯，他会把名字Meyer藏在画里，如图右上角。画家完美得用水彩颜料按油画的方式绘画了印象派风格的老房子。作品源于德国文化艺术馆在册的Bieg比尔格画廊。
