郎窑红釉为康熙时仿明宣德宝石红釉的品种，过去一直认为是郎廷极督陶时所烧，故名“郎窑”，其色如初凝牛血一般鲜红浓艳，乾隆皇帝曾称赞郎窑红“晕如雨后霁霞红，出火带加微炙工。世上朱砂非所拟，西方宝石致难同。插花应使花羞色，比尽翻嗤画是空。数典宣窑斯最古，谁知皇祜德尤崇。”乃清代单色釉中的名品，一直为藏家所重。拍品满施红釉，釉面肥厚光润，口沿微泛白，垂釉近足，颇有韵味。
