大缸撇口，圆鼓腹，圈足。器形敦实饱满，造型壮硕，稳重大气。外壁满绘青花穿花龙纹图案，呈色鲜亮蓝色。四爪龙形象凶恶，姿态矫健，气势凶猛，此造型及纹饰皆为清代传统图案，全器满饰花纹，布局得当，给人以繁而不乱、清爽秀丽的感觉，青花呈色亦非常纯正。龙缸烧造一直为景德镇明清两代制瓷业之难题，由于形体巨硕，普通窑炉无法进入，需要专设龙缸窑为之。此大缸具有稳定的发色和细腻的绘画笔触，堪称陈设佳器。
