独山莫棠读过、独山莫氏铜井文房、莫科莫祁莫棠之印、茹经居士、莫棠楚生、刘仙洲、黄道霞藏
是书记述颜元、李塨及其门人生平、学行、著述、思想，成书于同治八年（1869）。梁启超认为“这部《学记》，体裁全仿梨洲两《学案》，能提要钩玄，价值不在黄下”。此为同治十年冶城山馆初刻初印本，独山莫氏所藏，钤莫科、莫祁、莫棠三兄弟印，后为机械学家刘仙洲递藏。卷末有莫棠朱笔题识，云“光绪甲申（1884）正月，先君（莫祥芝）自江宁还沪渎，付此书。今岁戊辰，重检观，不觉遂，四十五年，穷老乱离，负荷无日，摩挲手泽，祇益泫然。四月初九日丁卯，棠谨记。”
