是书牌记刊印“曹雪芹原本\新增批点绣像红楼梦\佛山连元阁藏板”，但程伟元所作序言及绣像版心下处则刊有“三元堂板”字样，而文内部分版心下处又刊印有“三讓堂”3字。据原收藏者考据，认为此书“除序言另刻外，都同务本堂一样，用的务本堂原版”。书首收宝玉、迎春、王熙凤、秦可卿、宝钗等人物肖像15幅，每幅图案后附有诗文。
