此为冰铁殁后，文明书局主人俞复辑其遗作而成，分元、亨、利、贞、附编五册。先后辑录为廉南湖、吴芝瑛、陶湘、沈翔云、陈汉第、傅增湘、袁寒云、缪荃孙、端午桥等人治石用印。
王大炘（1869-1924），字冠山，号冰铁，以号行，室名齐石室、食古斋、冰铁堪、思惠斋，江苏吴县（今江苏苏州）人。与吴昌硕（苦铁）、钱厓（瘦铁）并称“江南三铁”。篆刻初学浙派，后以秦汉为法，旁及皖派。着有《王冰鐡印存》。
