刀身笔直，锻造精良，带有明显锻造纹理。护手为铁质，整体为圆形，中心安装有一铜板，其上以捶揲工艺制作有神兽支巴扎形象。刀柄短小，柄箍和柄首均为铁质，柄首内嵌铜质卷草纹盖板，握柄为木质。刀鞘为木胎，外包皮革，两侧带有铁质包边。刀鞘正面安装有铜质捶揲卷草纹盖板。刀鞘上还安装了两对四枚铜质鞘箍，与铁质提梁连接。全长89厘米。
